Dr’s Gorab, Marsh and Scoggins utilize a state of the art, low dose Maxillofacial Cone Beam CT (computed tomography) technology that provides highly detailed and accurate 3-D radiographic images for the diagnosis, surgical planning and treatment of variety of conditions of the oral and maxillofacial region.
This technology provides information for the diagnosis, planning and surgical treatment in orthodontics, dental implantology, TMJ analysis, airway assessment, jaw reconstructive surgery and other oral surgery procedures.
Undistorted, anatomically correct view of the jaw, teeth and facial bones along with cross-sectional views are easily generated and can be viewed in any number of different directions. Three-dimensional images enable a level of anatomical accuracy and precise surgical planning not possible with traditional 2-D imaging technologies.
